The Story Behind Us
Huvi Learn was born from a simple belief: filmmaking should be accessible, empowering, and joyful—especially for neurodivergent learners.
Founded by filmmaker and educator Caitlin Reid, Huvi Learn grew out of real-world experience in both creative industries and education. After years of working behind the camera and in front of classrooms, Caitlin noticed a gap in traditional film education—one that left out learners who think, process, and create differently. So she built something new.
Huvi Learn offers hands-on workshops, activity books, and learning tools that break down filmmaking into clear, creative steps. We blend practical skills with playful exploration, creating a safe and flexible environment for all kinds of thinkers—especially those who’ve been made to feel like they don’t “fit the mold.”
From phone-shot videos to community storytelling projects, everything we create is designed to meet you where you are. Whether you’re just picking up a camera or looking to reconnect with your creative voice, Huvi Learn is here to support your journey—with patience, clarity, and a whole lot of encouragement.
